Taking a day trip from Sjoa Camping is the perfect way to explore this beautiful part of the country.
Explore Heidal
Sjoa is located near Heidal, this valley has got the highest density of listed buildings in the country. There are more than 100 listed buidlings, and many of the farms are fully protected. This is definitely one of the things you would enjoy while in Heidal. From the main road you will see old farms in typical Gudbrandsdal style along the hillside. The buildings will still have their natural sunburned colour, so authentic to this part of the country.
